Labour Migration and Human Development

As the leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration, IOM supports the states to facilitate regular labour migration, integration and trainings for migrants in addition to carrying out activities for Diasporas relating to remittances, community development and skills transfer.

In Chad, IOM's work in Labour Migration and Human Development includes support for the development of the country's first ever study on labour migration dynamics, as well as technical guidance to the Government in the development of the draft bill for the protection of migrant workers and members of their families.

Chad Migration Profile: Strengthening Data to Inform Decision-Making

The project will support the development of the first comprehensive Migration Profile for Chad.
